01/30/07 - Wow! Been a long time! Just
wanted to give folks an update. I'm still alive and breathing and working my butt off. Real life is still kicking
my butt but I am finally at a new job where I work days, so hopefully I can settle in quickly and become more active on the
web again. Wanted to say thanks to all those who have sent me e-mails inquiring about my fics, and wondering what happened
to me. I appreciate your concern and well wishes more than I can say. I do plan on finishing at least the two
stories I started so long ago that are still no the coming soon page. Sorry I've kept everyone waiting. I can't
give you a time, just say that I do plan on finishing them. In the meantime, remember that XF Millennium Smut is still
up and showing, although I haven't been able to pay attention to submissions in some time. Thanks again for sticking
around and continuing to read the fic!
02/19/06 - This is something I'd seen before, but
my sister recently sent it to me. Although it's old, from a time shortly after 9/11 - it was still good to read it again.
I decided to post it here just for the hell of it. While I believe that terrorism must be faught -- I and about 50 million
other Americans do not believe in what our President has done overseas. This does not mean that we are not patriotic
or that we don't support our troops that have no choice in where they are sent by our Commander in Chief to do their jobs.
In an odd paradox, it is what makes this country great in my opinion -- we are free to disagree, even with our President.
Freedom of speech and liberty are things that I often take for granted, being born into them. My husband's parents and
many of his current family know different, having grown up in Lithuania. It's never a bad thing to be reminded that
the freedoms we enjoy are a privilege, hard won by the men and women in uniform that serve both domestic and abroad.

As of late I have been receiving a lot
of email requesting that I pass it on to have my dreams come true, etc. Below
is another email that has been requested to be passed on. No, there are no promises
of dreams to come true or wealth beyond anyone's wildest imagination. It was
only a request to help make a point, a point I find worthy of being made. So,
I have elected to comply with the request. Whether you choose to is always up
to you. Regardless, I hope after reading this you can at least nod your head
in agreement.

Kill an American
You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan
had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.
So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is so they would
know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)
"An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also
be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.
An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes
known as native Americans.
An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In
fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan.
The only difference is that in America they are free to worship
as each of them chooses.
An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer
only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.
An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world. The
root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person
to the pursuit of happiness.
An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need,
never asking a thing in return.
When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20
years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!
As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
Americans welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services.
But they also welcome the least.
The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty,
welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact
are the people who built America.
Some of them were working in the Twin Towers
the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families.
It's been told that the World Trade Center
victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the
terrorists
So you
can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty
tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from
a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere,
is an American.

12/07/04 - UPDATES! Few changes in format. One - the Mirror
Image fics have been moved to the SERIES section from the Companion section. I didn't envision more fics, but as it
happens, I have wrote a third story in this category, turning it into a series. Therefore, I moved it to the SERIES
section. The new fic will be posted once it completes beta.
Two, I have recently written a new Skinner/Marita fic. Therefore,
I created a page for them in the SKINNERFIC section. For now, the story "Deceive, Inveigle, Obfuscate", is listed there
as it includes a couple of tryst scenes between Skinner and Marita. The new fic will be coming soon, once it gets through
beta.
Third, I FINALLY finished the War of the Legends series. "War of the
Legends 5", which completes the series will be coming soon as soon as it gets through beta. Be patient, I have a lot
of irons in the fire. However, all these fics are coming. Hopefully, I can keep you busy through the holiday season!

and reminding people every month that the deadline is coming, I'm thinking that there isn't enough interest. There were

10/07/04 - I have created a couple of pages entitled POLITICS
and put them at the top of the NAV bar. These are my opinions only, and while I brace for the hate-mail, I don't wish
to receive it. If you disagree with me, that's fine. I don't need you to spill vitriol in my lap because of it.
If you agree with me, that's great. If you have honest questions about the material on those pages, bring it on!
All information on those pages was obtained from legitimate news sources and/or books and articles. Could there be errors?
Sure there could. However, this is what I believe to be the truth. Whatever you believe, I urge you to get out
and vote in the November election. Take part in the political process that in many ways, determines our way of life.
This year, it's too important to sit home on election day. The future of America depends on you. And YES, one
vote can make a difference.

01/29/04 - Operating difficulties resolved. I have redesigned
the SERIES section. When you click on the SERIES/CONTINUING STORIES banner on the "Stories by Category" page, you will
now enter a SERIES PORTAL. There you will find banner links to each series which now has its own page or "mini-site".
Any questions, just let me know.
01/28/04 - I am experiencing some operating difficulties with
my site builder. Consequently, you will find that the graphics in the SERIES section are all screwed up. I know,
I know! I'll get them fixed as soon as I can.
Also, I have also revised the COMING SOON page. It now
contains dustjackets for MY fics only. To see what's coming soon for the other authors, click on the link on the NAV
bar for that author and you will find the dustjackets for their fics that are in the works. With seven other authors
now on the site, it was becoming a little confusing as to what fics belonged to whom and what order they were scheduled to
be released in. Hopefully, this will help to make things a bit clearer.

01/14/04 - NEW STORY! Round Robin Chat Challenge
produced, "Accidental Date", a story written in seven parts by seven authors. We each wrote a part, were issued an element
and challenged to include it in our part. We wrote, we challenged the next person and passed it on. This is the
result. This is a first time endeavor for a couple of the authors so it was a lot of fun. It can be found in the
COLLABORATIONS section under "Round Robin", on FatCat's site, under COLLABORATIONS, and in the NEWEST STORIES section.
The story is Rated PG-13, so it's safe for everyone. Hope you enjoy it.

12/28/03 - STORIES BY TITLE page has been added. I finally
got off my tush and created a list of the stories in alphabetical order for those who are looking for a particular story and
don't want to figure out what category its in. This is also the place to see the size of the stories in KBs, something
I've never posted before. So now if you want to see the length of the story, it is posted next to the alphabetical link
for that story.
12/27/03 - In my ongoing effort to improve the site and speed
up page loading on this "graphics intensive" site, I have reconstructed the ALPHABET STORIES section and broken it down into
four sections of the alphabet. Hopefully this will help with slow page loading and problems with getting the graphics
to appear on slower computers. If you have any questions, please let me know.
12/25/03 - RED SHOE DIAIRES SITE. I received an e-mail
from Patty Hayes giving permission to archive her fic, The Cavendish Door. Her story was one of the crossover fics that
I had been unable to obtain permission to archive because of an old e-mail address. Her permission and new e-mail address
are now posted with the fic. So if you read this story, loved it and wish to send feedback to Patty, you can now.
For all those that still don't know that site exists ... go check it out! There are a lot of great fics there!
12/23/03 - Had a little trouble with the shortcut navigation
display on Orange Tabby Cat Recommends' site when I revamped the navigation for the archive, breaking it down into smaller
pages. The letters displayed on the NAV bar should be correct now and in proper alphabetical order. Sorry about
the confusion. I broke the archive down into smaller pieces to facilitate faster page loading. I have been trying
to do that all over the site after receiving complaints about trouble loading the graphics intensive pages from people with
slower computers or dial up. If you have any questions about navigating this site, please feel free to contact me at
any time by e-mail.
Also, in order to help out those that have trouble loading the graphics, I have
added text links for all the stories underneath the dustjackets. Therefore, if the dustjacket doesn't load on your computer,
you can still tell which story is there, whereas, with only the picture links, it was hard to tell. If I have missed
any of them, please let me know. It was a massive project, and I may have overlooked a couple. I hope not, but
in the event that I did, please let me know. Thanks for all your support. I hope you visit often!

10/31/03 - Ah, just when you thought I couldn't possibly confuse
you further ... I created yet another section. This one is called COMPANION FICS. This section houses all the
"duo" fics that I have written, in other words each set contains only two fics, and therefore, is not a series. They
can be read indivudally or together, but they were meant to be companion pieces. There is a new banner on the STORIES
page that will lead you that section. So if you are looking for a fic and can't find it where it used to be, check the
COMPANION FICS page!
10/29/03 - More revisions! Ahhh, my work is never done.
I have now added a COLLABORATIONS section, which with house all fics that I write with other authors. For now, my fic
with FatCat, "Truckin'" is there, and I have put up the covers for the upcoming fics on the other pages. Check it out
if you wish, or wait for the new stories. Coming up are "Poltergeist" with Soleil Compeau, "Cachot Desirer" with XRae,
and "Keep on Truckin'" with FatCat. Let the games begin!

up out of her smoldering archive, entitled "The Rescue". Written three years ago at the end of Season 7, it gives a
peek at what might have happened after Mulder's abduction. It's Rated PG, and safe for the kiddies! So go check

08/24/03 - NEW STORY! "Hunt for the Fetishist", the
sequel to "Hunt for the Werewolf", is now posted in the NEWEST STORIES section and the STAND ALONE section. I
haven't moved it to the SERIES section because I'm not sure if there will be another fic in this duo. At any rate, hope
you enjoy it.
08/14/03 - Created a separate page for the "Dark Sex Series",
on the SERIES/CONTINUING STORIES section. When you click on the banner, you will arrive at a home page with Gift pics,
and then the NAV BAR will list each series. Also added some new tile pics in that section for each series.
In my ongoing quest for better dustjackets, I put up new covers for several fics, including
a couple of COMING SOON fics.
